e culture, braver themes and a gamut of young stars — the start of the new millennium ushered in a massive change for Bollywood. The world’s largest film industry had, until then, worked in pretty much the same way for more than five decades.
And like everything associated with change, the repercussions were mixed but we did get some really good films. So while there were turkeys, there were also movies that warmed our hearts and souls.
Which movies impressed you this decade? Was it the underdog tale “Lagaan” or the eternal romance “Devdas”? Was it the humour of the “Munnabhai” series or perhaps the flashy action in “Dhoom” that you enjoyed?
