New Delhi, Dec. 6 : Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan held a special screening of his latest movie 'Paa' for the cast and crew of the film in Chennai on Saturday.
Directed by R. Balki, the film relates the story of a thirteen-year-old boy played by Amitabh Bachchan now in his mid-sixties, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder progeria that causes a person to age faster than normal.
Interacting with media persons, Amitabh said that he was fortunate to have worked with Balki, the director of the film.
'He always wanted to try new things and wanted to bring some kind of freshness to filmmaking. This is something that I compliment and admire; I am deeply grateful to R Balki to choose me to make this film. We as producers have been fortunate in associating ourselves with this wonderful human being,' Bachchan said.
Among those present on the occasion were director Balki and music director Ilayaraja.
The film was released on December 04.
